Hello
I have used the flash and was surprised that it does not have integrated programs with
For example, backup programs.
As well as the absence of a program to close the flash, no secret
Thanks
Greetings
Two stars for quality.... March 12, 2010 James Campbell (Concord, NC) We use flash media in my current job (in the thousands), so I get a good sense of failure rates. This drive was used very sparingly for less than a year and babied. A week ago this drive died without warning. The controller completely died, leaving me without any options to salvage any of the data.
I have never had a controller die. I have had flash corruptions and other issues, but never a complete meltdown of the controller.
This is now costing me $120 for a data recovery service to try and salvage some recent files that weren't backed up yet.
Very frustrated first time Sandisk customer!
I recommend finding a drive with a Phison controller, they are rock solid in my experience...
Lots of Storage for Not a Lot of Money March 9, 2010 R. Martins (Southern California) I recently purchased this USB drive and was surprised at how much storage I could get for not a lot of money.
